Meet Our Medical Director
Dr. Itua Godson Iriogbe is a Board-Certified Family Physician in Canada specializing in Occupational and Disability Medicine. With extensive qualifications and experience, he is a recognized expert in his field. Dr. Iriogbe obtained his Master’s in Family Medicine from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and holds a Fellowship in Family Medicine (FCFP) from the College of Medicine of South Africa. He is a Fellow of the American College of Independent Medical Examiners (FACIME), the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (FACOEM), and the Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine (FCBOM).
Dr. Iriogbe has made significant contributions to the field of disability medicine, both nationally and internationally, and has mentored fellow physicians. He has worked with various third parties, including legal firms and insurance companies, as an independent medical examiner. Dr. Iriogbe is also known for opening the first Occupational Injury Service (OIS) clinic in Camrose County, providing essential services to injured workers.
Currently, Dr. Iriogbe serves as the President-Elect of the Canadian Association of Nigerian Physicians and Dentists (CANPAD). He has held leadership positions in professional associations such as the Occupational and Environmental Association of Canada (OEMAC) and the Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine (CBOM).
Dr. Iriogbe’s professional achievements include awards such as the Recognition of Excellence award (ROE) from the Alberta College of Family Physicians (ACFP) and the Environmental Health Award from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). He was also honored with the 2022 Small Community Enhancement Award by the former Premier of Alberta, Honorable Jason Kenney.
